2nd-4th June 2017
In November 2009 a plan was hatched to have a beer festival at Fyne Ales Brewery. We wanted more than a run of the mill beer festival, we wanted a weekend of great beer, great food, and great music where people could come and camp over. We knew we had a wealth of food providers and musical talent in our local area and after getting them on-board, we had the beginnings of a great festival.
The 1st FyneFest was in the brewery forecourt in June 2010 and 350 people came for the weekend, most of them camping or staying locally.
The festival is now held in the fields surrounding the brewery with the camping and parking within strolling distance of the main festival site. We have capped the number of festival goers at 2000, small enough to be family friendly, big enough to have party.
Now in it’s 8th year, FyneFest just gets better and better. The team have endeavoured to add value year on year and the number of people returning each year stands as testament to the fact that we are doing things right.
