The setting for The Lodge on Loch Fyne is one of the most picturesque in Argyll & Bute, Scotland.

Built in 1860 as a shooting lodge for a wealthy landowner, our beautiful bedrooms are a complete hideaway and a favourite place for those celebrating all kinds of special occasions.

Adam and Jennifer welcome you to The Lodge on Loch Fyne, a stunning former Victorian shooting lodge set in two acres overlooking the spectacular Loch Fyne and Inveraray Castle. The adjoining woodland has achieved SSSI status and if you walk through the woods you will see the many plants native to this area. You may also see some of the wildlife including red squirrels, deer and owls.

The beautiful Cowal Peninsula offers wonderful scenery, where you can enjoy walking, fishing, golf, swimming and boating in and around Loch Fyne. It offers guests a peaceful retreat with outstanding loch views and is the perfect location for exploring the magnificent west highlands of Scotland.

We also offer the opportunity to moor your boat at one of our moorings or why not bring your horse to the paddock and ride around the countryside.

3rd-5th  June 2022

In November 2009 a plan was hatched to have a beer festival at Fyne Ales Brewery. We wanted more than a run of the mill beer festival, we wanted a weekend of great beer, great food, and great music where people could come and camp over. We knew we had a wealth of food providers and musical talent in our local area and after getting them onboard, we had the beginnings of a great festival.

The 1st FyneFest was in the brewery forecourt in June 2010 and 350 people came for the weekend, most of them camping or staying locally.

The festival is now held in the fields surrounding the brewery with the camping and parking within strolling distance of the main festival site. We have capped the number of festival goers at 2000, small enough to be family friendly, big enough to have a party.

Now in it’s 11th year, FyneFest just gets better and better. The team have endeavoured to add value year on year and the number of people returning each year stands as a testament to the fact that we are doing things right.
