Golf

Fishing
Loch Fyne is renowned for it’s sea fishing. You can fish from the pier at Inveraray but you would be better to try the quieter jetty in St Catherines. Situated just ¼ mile away, you can fish for mackerel, cod and other plentiful species. You can also hire boats or go on fishing trips on the loch. Species caught in Loch Fyne include cod, pollack, coalfish, conger, plaice, turbot, mackerel and ling. You will be able to gather mussles from the beach too if you bring your wellies.
Bring your rods to fish from our own private beach or from the jetty and if you are lucky enough to land a few, a BBQ on the shore is the way to go.
Inverawe Fisheries has something for everyone, be it fishing on one of the four loch’s, finding out how salmon is smoked, exploring the many trails and tracks, feeding the fish, trying out the new play area, browsing through the shop, or enjoying delicious food in the Smokery Café.
Diving
There is an open water training site at St Catherines and Sunday sees the “Men In Black” lining up along the shores to hopefully pluck a bag or two of hand dived scallops from the sea bed. There are also good dive sites at Strachur- 4 miles and Carrick Castle- 8 miles and a diving chartered boat at Tarbert
Sailing
Why not sail up to Cuil Na Mara where you can moor your boat at one of our moorings. You can set sail in the morning, enjoy a day on the loch and return to put your feet up for a well earned rest
